2004 Christmas Cake Competition


Before the Gdsm's Christmas Lunch, later that day (images are below) - the annual Christmas Competition was to take place.

Members from local Schools were invited to come along to judge the cakes, the overall winners were in three 'rank' categories.

Due to the Commanding Officer being away on duty, the Second in Command (Maj Tower) attended.

The Second in Command also had the privilege of the 'annual stirring of the Christmas Pudding'.






Xmas Lunch


The annual food fight was now upon us, and Officers and Sergeants Mess Members turned out to wait on all Gdsm and LCpls.  All were very much looking forward to having a few sprouts thrown at them!

It had to happen, 'give 'em a mince pie and it's bound to get stuck in 'yer eye!'

The Toast

It was time for the Senior Gdsm to wish the Second in Command a very 'Merry Christmas', Casper did just that - the Second in Command handed a pint to him - Casper downed it in one!!!
