TRACING A
COLDSTREAMER
Tracing or tracking (as some like to say) a Coldstreamer can be a
very daunting and stressful time!
That said, if the Coldstreamer is still serving then he will more
than likely (unless he is posted to another Unit) be located at one
of the addresses above (with the Bn, at No. 7 Coy are even with RHQ).
If you know that the soldier is within the Battalion, and know of
his details then you could try the "Save
a Stamp" feature.
Although we would very much like to we do not have the resources or
time to track individuals down for you. ShinyCapstar is inundated
with many e-mails, asking for us to try and track down lost friends,
colleagues or family members - or to gain information of how to do
it
Unfortunately, ShinyCapstar regrets to inform you that we cannot
provide this facility.
ShinyCapstar is a Battalion Run Website, and is presently ran by one
single Coldstreamer. Records of past Coldstreamers and
relevant information is stored in the Regimental Archives in London.
Information can be obtained from Regimental Headquarters but there
WILL be an administrative charge.
For more details you should write "in person" to
Regimental Headquarters, giving as many details as possible. The

Scans of images taken from Regimental
Headquarters (Crown copyright)
Unless an image has been identified from source please
presume that it is a scan of an original image from
Regimental Headquarters, therefore this image has Crown
Copyright.
Permission CANNOT be granted by ShinyCapstar
for individuals to use any of these images (we have so many
e-mails asking us this question). Permission must be
granted through Regimental Headquarters for the use of
images with Crown Copyright.
